Reading and understanding engineering drawings & blueprintsFitting, assembling, and installing mechanical parts and equipmentPerforming bench work: filing, drilling, tapping, grindingMeasuring and marking components using vernier calipers, micrometers, gaugesAligning and assembling shafts, bearings, gears, couplingsCarrying out repair and maintenance of machinesAssisting in machine installation & commissioningIdentifying faults and doing basic troubleshootingFollowing safety procedures and shop-floor discipline
